Mortal Shell 2 Parry Guide: Infinite Seal Timing & Break
🎯 TL;DR: Parry lives on the Infinite Seal — a tighter-timing parry that deals more Break damage and can cancel your attack animation. Miss, and you eat the full hit.
1. How Parry Works
- Equip the Infinite Seal
- Tighter timing window than a Perfect Guard
- Deals more Break damage — breaks elite enemies much faster
- Can parry out of attack animations — like Harden, it cancels your swing
⚠️ No fallback: Miss the parry and you take the full hit — there's no fallback block. Worst case, dodge out of the way instead.
2. When to Use Parry
- Duels with telegraphed bosses — the higher Break melts their guard fast
- When you already see the hit coming and want more Break than a Perfect Guard gives
- Not while learning — stick with Guard until you can read patterns
💡 The trade-off: Parry is a more offensive Perfect Guard. It's the best Seal for breaking bosses, but the lack of a fallback block means you need to already know the timing.
🎯 Bottom line: "Parry for Break on bosses you know, but keep Guard/Harden while you're still learning the timing."
