What Shell should I start with in Mortal Shell 2?

Proxima is the recommended starter — her hook pull into a Lightning finisher and damage-shrug passive make the opening hours forgiving. Fast, survivor-friendly, and a great way to learn the pacing.

What are Tarstones and how many can I equip?

Tarstones are equippable stones that add passive bonuses or active abilities to your weapon, sidearm and Shell. You can equip 10 at once: 4 Support (Shell-compatible) plus 2 each for Combat, Infusion and Ability.

This Privacy Policy explains what informations this site collects, how it uses them, and the choices you have. By using this site you agree to the practices described below.

1. What This Site Is

Mortal Shell 2 Guides ("we", "the site") is an unofficial fan resource for the video game Mortal Shell II. It is a personal, ad-free project maintained to help players with guides and walkthroughs.

2. Account Data (Registered Users)

Creating an account is completely optional. If you register, we collect and store:

Email address — used only as your login identifier. We do not send marketing email and will only ever contact you about your account if needed.
Password — stored as a hashed value (never in plain text) on our servers.
Saved guides & progress — the guides you bookmark (★ Save) and any collectible progress you track are tied to your account so they persist across devices.

This data is stored in our database (hosted on Cloudflare’s D1/Durable infrastructure) in order to provide the account features you use.

3. Browsing Without An Account

You can read every guide without registering. If you are not signed in, nothing personal is sent to our servers. Any in-browser "saved" state you may use is kept locally in your own browser and is not uploaded unless you sign in.

4. Sessions & Cookies

When you log in, we set a secure session cookie so the site remembers that you are signed in. It is an authentication cookie only — we do not use cookies for advertising, analytics tracking of individuals, or cross-site profiling.

5. No Ads, No Third-Party Trackers

This site is ad-free and does not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural trackers. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone.

6. Hosting & Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, D1). Cloudflare may process technical connection data (such as your IP address) as part of operating and securing their network, subject to their privacy policy. Game images and names used here are the property of their owners and are used for identification/commentary under fair-use principles.

7. Your Rights & Deletion

You may delete your account and data at any time from your account dashboard. If you cannot or prefer to handle it manually, email us using the contact address listed at the bottom of this page and we will remove your data. You may also choose simply not to create an account.

8. Children

This site is a video-game guide intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Links To Other Sites

Guides may link to third-party websites (for example the official Mortal Shell II page). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites — please review their own policies.
