2. S-Tier Weapons
Axe and Dagger
The top of the current meta. The only weapon that equips Arbiter's Prize + Duality Stone together 鈥?Bloodcurse damage plus doubled hits and Resolve. Fast, multi-hit combos burst enemies before they punish you.
Axatana
Light and heavy attacks morph the weapon mid-combo, covering both crowds and single elites. One of only two weapons that accepts the Duality Stone.
3. A-Tier Weapons
Black Needle
12 Tarstone slots (largest of any A-tier) + exclusive Nightgrasp Stone. Great reach and a decent gap closer keep you safe.
Great Martyr's Blade
The strongest charged light attack in the game, high base damage, solid AoE 鈥?but slow, and mistimed swings get punished hard.
The Iconoclast
Your starting weapon 鈥?decent range, good damage, fast attacks, and capable of finishing the game. Only an 8-Tarstone pool limits its late-game ceiling.
4. B & C-Tier Weapons
Veteran's Battle Axe
Good damage and AoE, but slow animation speed leaves you exposed. 8 Tarstones with Inflamed Clawstone recommended.
Clockwork Scythe
12 Tarstone slots + best AoE clear in the game 鈥?genuinely useful for overworld clearing. Against bosses it falls apart, lacking the reach and speed of higher-tier weapons.
Obsidian Hammer
The slowest attacks in the game. High base damage and the only Colossus Stone user, but DPS lags behind due to swing time.
5. How to Spend Resources (No Regrets)
- Don't spread smithing stones while testing 鈥?hold them until you commit
- Pick based on what kills you: crowds 鈫?Axe and Dagger / Axatana; single tough enemies 鈫?Great Martyr's Blade
- Upgrade one weapon fully at the Tarforge before branching out
